Mud\earth Bricks can be enjoyed by everyone everywhere. They are often referred to as "Adobe", relating to the feature of it being a 'sun dried brick'. Any structure built with mud\earth bricks is capable of lasting for centuries simply by addressing some of the following:

•  Correct design incorporating style, weather  protection and orientation.
  
  
•  Sound construction methods.

The bricks we have made have been strong and durable, They are environmentally friendly, hygienic, great insulators against heat and cold, fire resistant and sound proof. As far as can be determined, termites do not build their tunnels in mud\earth brick walls. Mud\earth bricks do not absorb moisture.

With good brick manufacturing techniques, there will be no objection from planning authorities against the construction of mud\earth brick homes.

We get our bricks compressive strength tested to ensure structural compliance.

Our stabilised mud\earth bricks have been averaging 18MPa . The unstabilised mud bricks average 2MPa both well above the standard requirements.

Our research has helped us to establish confidently the art of utilising differing soil types to enable the correct manufacture of our mud\earth bricks.

We have experimented with numerous soil groups, from fine dune sand to abandoned ant beds. We have trialed natural fibres for bonding such as Spinifex.

Any type of mud\earth bricks can be made. We have made pavers, small bricks, large bricks, curved bricks… they look great !

Most of the conventional mortars available on the market can be used when laying the bricks. A Mud\earth based mortar has a more homogenous effect on the bricks.
